Human Factors & Ergonomics Society (HFES) – Western New York Chapter | Treasurer
In addition to my professional work, I actively contributed to the Human Factors community as Treasurer for the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society of Western New York (HFES WNY). In this role, I helped foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for practicing professionals and students across multiple disciplines, strengthening connections between academia and industry. My responsibilities included maintaining accurate financial records, managing membership dues, and supporting the chapter’s operational health. I also played a hands-on role in recruiting and coordinating guest speakers, emceeing chapter meetings, and organizing social events, receptions, and participant recognition. This experience reflects my commitment to community leadership, knowledge sharing, and advancing the practice of human-centered design beyond individual projects.
